Own every training claim HYREN makes. If the engine prescribes it, you can defend it.

What you would own

  • Set the progression, taper, and recovery logic the engine is allowed to apply
  • Define the safety gates: what an athlete reporting pain or poor readiness must never be asked to do
  • Keep the periodisation defensible against current literature, and write down why
  • Review every training-facing string in the product, because wording is prescription

What you bring

  • A sport science or S&C qualification, plus real athletes coached to real races
  • HYROX or hybrid-racing fluency — the eight stations, the compromised running, the roxzone
  • Willingness to say "the evidence does not support that" in the room, repeatedly

Nice to have

  • Published or presented work
  • Experience writing programming at scale
  • Rehab or return-to-training expertise
