Own the app the athlete actually touches — the training screen, the check-in, the offline path, and the release that gets it to them.

What you would own

  • Ship features end to end in React Native and Expo, from the data hook to the App Store build
  • Hold the offline-first contract: a session logged in a basement gym with no signal must survive
  • Keep launch time and list performance honest on the mid-range Android devices most athletes carry
  • Own EAS builds, staged rollouts, and the crash triage that follows them

What you bring

  • Several years of production React Native, including at least one app you took through store review
  • Real opinions about state, navigation, and where the bridge hurts
  • Comfort writing tests for logic you did not write

Nice to have

  • Expo Router and EAS Update in anger
  • HealthKit or wearable integrations
  • You train, and you have felt the problem

    The technical step is a real HYREN problem, timeboxed and paid if it runs long. No unpaid take-home marathons.

Worth preparing. Have a build you can show running on a device — a store link, a TestFlight, or a screen recording. We would rather see it move than read about it.
